The Processionary Caterpillar, scientifically known as Thaumetopoea pityocampa, is a pest that threatens not only our trees, but also the safety of our pets and children. This dangerous creature has become a significant threat to health and safety in our natural environments.

Why is it so dangerous?

Processionary caterpillars build their nests in trees, feeding on their leaves and branches. But the most worrying thing is that these caterpillars have extremely irritating stinging hairs. When they come into contact with the skin, these hairs can cause painful allergic reactions. For our pets, the risk is even greater, since they can ingest the caterpillars, which can have serious and even fatal consequences.

Children, in their natural curiosity, may sometimes touch or play with these caterpillars without being aware of the danger they pose. It is essential that we are alert and take preventive measures to protect our little explorers from this risk.

Don't let the Processionary Caterpillar endanger your loved ones and pets. Act immediately to protect your trees and prevent contact with these dangerous creatures. The safety of our pets and children is an undisputed priority.

Because your well-being is the most important thing.
